Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown has ranked himself as the best player in the NBA by claiming that no player is playing better than he is.
He said this during a livestream on X (formerly Twitter) a few days after making a bold claim that Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Steph Curry won’t beat him in a one-on-one matchup. (Click highlighted text to read full story).
29 year old Brown, who is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season for the Boston Celtics who rank third in the Eastern Conference despite playing without star player Jayson Tatum, ranked himself above top performers including Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic stating,
“I don’t care who you say right now, ain’t nobody doing it better than me right now” on the Twitch stream and added via NESN’s Tyler Maher that

“I’ve been embracing a villain this season. There was a lot of people waiting for me to fall on my face this season… they had the tweets loaded, ready for me to fail, (they) still waiting on it. And I’m just gonna tell them, keep waiting.”

Boston take on Indiana Pacers on Saturday, December 27.
