Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito says he is very happy for his players after they delivered a sterling performance to score a huge win over Bechem United.
Kotoko returned to the Baba Yara Stadium and delivered an emphatic 6-0 win over Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League.
Under fire striker Morifing Donzo scored his first brace for Kotoko since joining the club this past offseason with fellow strikers Kwame Opoku and Johnson Owusu Oppong also getting on the score sheet.
The win is Kotoko’s third in a row after beating Dreams FC and Eleven Wonders prior; Johnson Owusu scored twice in a row for the first time in Kotoko colours.
Speaking after the win to TV3, Karim Zito was happy to have his strikers back healthy and scoring goals for the Porcupine Warriors.

“I am very happy we won…I’m very happy for the boys. It tells you that they-the strikers- have been taking their practice very seriously…so I think it manifested in the game today and I’m very happy for them” Karim Zito said.

Kotoko travel to Swedru to take on All Blacks on Sunday, January 4.
Ending the year with a great feast.
