Chief Inspector Gomado said six spent cartridges was retrieved from the scene.
He said a manhunt was underway for the rest of the suspects.
He said the commotion was between two factions who were fighting over the right of access to the mosque, which had been closed for some time now.
“It was when one faction started changing the locks to the mosque that the problem started,” he told the Graphic Online.
Chief Inspector Gomado said calm had since been restored at the Sabong-Zango, with the police maintaining peace and order at the place.

All check points have been alerted to be on the lookout for suspicious vehicles and occupants, he added.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Volta Regional Police Commander, ACP Samuel Okunor had met with the leadership of the feuding factions and cautioned them to refrain from any further violence.
