Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Mohammed Kudus is in line to be out of action for 12 weeks due to a quad injury that forced him to miss Spurs’ English Premier League game against AFC Bournemouth.
Spurs lost 3-2 to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium in a game that had Kudus’ Black Stars teammate Antoine Semenyo score the winning goal.
The game marked Semenyo’s final outing in Bournemouth colours as the Ghanaian international is set to complete his heralded move to Manchester City later this week.
Speaking after the loss that has intensified concerns over his future, Spurs manager Thomas Frank confirmed that Kudus was set to be out of action for a significant time.
“Kudus is unfortunately a bigger one [injury] to the tendon in the quad, so that’s one where we expect him back after the March international break” Frank stated via the club’s media.

Kudus picked up the injury in Spurs’ game against Sunderland; since joining Spurs, Kudus has registered three goals and six assists in 26 games in all competitions.
