Even though they were to be in a state of melancholy after ace Ghanaian highlife legend, Daddy Lumba had bought his ticket to the land of silence, some family members and close Associates used the opportunity to become popular.
This post therefore focuses on bringing to the limelight 5 Ghanaians who have become extremely popular because of the death of the late Daddy Lumba born Charles Kwadwo Fosuh.
Surprisingly enough, almost all of the people happen to be family members and close Associates of the late musician, who many expected nothing but the best from. Meanwhile, let us go through the list;
- Abusuapanin Tupac
Born Abusuapanin Kofi Wusu, Abusuapanin Tupac used the late Daddy Lumba’s death to trend more than even the deceased himself.
Being the Abusuapanin for the late musician and “3ko)Na” family at large, Abusuapanin Tupac was the one who was to ensure orderliness, togetherness, and peace, before, during, and after the funeral of the late Daddy Lumba.
Sadly enough, Abusuapanin Tupac used the opportunity to promote himself even more than the funeral of the late popular musician. To make things worse, Abusuapanin Tupac launched “Tupac Movement” at the Sunday service of the late Daddy Lumba instead of honoring the late musician.
- Papa Shee
Ghanaian man of God, Nana Yaw Akosah, known better as Evangelist Papa Shee has become more popular today than he used to be, and all thanks be to the death of the late Daddy Lumba.
In December 2006, Papa Shee had invested so much into his music talent, releasing “Atepa”, “Atadwe”, and “Koyonso”, however, the songs have become more popular in 2025 even though they were released a long time ago.
Papa Shee, who claims to be a confidant of the late musician has been moving from one media platform to another, trumpeting that Akosua Serwaa is the legal wife of the late musician.
Many have questioned who Papa Shee is to the family of the late musician, but he sweeps such questions under the carpet, and when he answers, he says he is the spokesperson of the immediate family, adding that Daddy Lumba was more than a brother.
Interestingly enough, anyone who tries to disrespect Akosua Serwaa faces the wrath of Papa Shee.
- Oheneba Ntim
Oheneba Ntim has gained some popularity following the death of the late musician. Even though Oheneba Ntim is a media personality, nobody knew Oheneba Ntim until Daddy Lumba died.
It all started when Oheneba Ntim called during a show on United Showbiz that had Daddy Lumba as a topic under discussion to add his cent, and explain things better to the panelists, guests, and Ghanaians at large.
On the next show, Oheneba Ntim appeared as a guest to defend and support Odo Bronii for reasons nobody knows at the moment.
Just like Papa Shee, Oheneba Ntim had been fighting Ghanaians who speak ill of Odo Bronii, including Ghanaian Gospel musician, Great Ampong.
- Afia Schwar
The name Afia Schwar was very popular in the Ghanaian society, however, her popularity dwindled for reasons nobody knows at the moment.
Following the death of Daddy Lumba, Afia Schwar made a video stating that she was in a pool of sadness because the late musician was her uncle, even though the claims are yet to be confirmed.
After that video had gone viral, Afia Schwar did a series of videos, insulting Akosua Serwaa, Wofa Yaw Poku, Team Legal wives, and anyone who did not agree with what she said.
- Collins Amankwaah
One-time Ghanaian Member of Parliament, Collins Amankwah has become more popular than he used to be following the death of the late Charles Kwadwo Fosuh.
Immediately Daddy Lumba was proclaimed dead, a committee was created to raise funds to support both the one-week observation and the funeral. The once-upon-a-time Member of Parliament was added to the committee for reasons that are yet to be uncovered.
Even though Collins Amankwaah hardly talks, it is believed that he has been a snake in the grass, and one of the people behind Abusuapanin Tupac’s decision.
