A Visit to Matilda Foundation Orphanage Home at Ampabame NO.2 By LIVING AMBITIONS’ INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES ON THE 30TH OF DECEMBER, 2025

[ad_1]

Background

Orphanage homes predate ancient civilizations. With time:

Ancient Greece and Rome had Temples and communities caring for orphans.

In the medieval ages, Churches and monasteries took in abandoned children. And from the 18th to the 19th centuries, official orphanages emerged in Europe and the US due to urbanization and poverty.

The role of orphanages in West Africa, particularly Ghana can’t be underestimated. Shelter is a luxury for a select few, and it is nothing like the provision of basic needs. To this end, Living Ambitions International Ministries under the visionary leadership of the board, and its members put smiles on colleagues at MATILDA FOUNDATION Orphanage Home, Ampabame No. 2 (Kumasi).

ITEMS DONATED

Rice, drinks, biscuits, toiletries, and other stationery, running into thousands of cedis were donated. The amount, gotten through benevolent contributions of members, played an indispensable role in putting the Merry behind the Christmas for the impoverished while igniting insightful discussion of assisting humanity to adjust favorably to planet earth.

These young ones never opted to be orphans. It’s either occasioned by parental irresponsibility or natural disasters. Anyone could be a victim and when that happens, they should not be deemed less of a human.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE MINISTRY

Living Ambitions’ International Ministry is not a Church. It is a non-denominational Ministry encompassing professionals from diverse Christian backgrounds aimed at providing a common platform for all to find and serve God even in our busy schedules.
We don’t just embrace every professional; only those who hunger and thirst for God and need a lucid platform to be able to maintain a personal relationship with God despite our busy schedules. To this end, there are lawyers, medical doctors, chartered accountants, teachers, entrepreneurs, pastors, prophets etc within the ministry.

Core Activities:

1) End-of-Month Prayers/Bible Studies.
2) Seminars during holidays
3) Sharing of VERIFIED Opportunities and helping one another to rise together.
4) Reading Motivational and Spiritual Books monthly: Ambitions hinged on ignorance are destructive to our spiritual make-up and a waste of resources.
5) Providing a platform for members to showcase their products, talents, and soft skills

CONCLUSION

The Chief Servant of the ministry, Dr. Ephraim Armstrong Awinbugri, together with the Board, chaired by Ps. Joseph Kofi Avoryie wishes to profoundly thank everyone who made it possible for these kids to also enjoy Christmas, especially Quinster Ruth Adjei and Albert Boakye who represented the ministry for the donation, and pray that God prosper the works of contributors, brighten your visions, and elevate your status. Amen
