The husband of a married nursing student who was recently caught in an infidelity incident is demanding GHS 60,000 from the male colleague involved.
According to information gathered, the demand was formally presented to the community chief after the husband discovered his wife and her male classmate together in their matrimonial room.
The matter was subsequently referred to traditional authorities following the arrest of the male student by community members.
The husband reportedly told elders that upon entering the house unexpectedly, he found the two together and restrained the male colleague when both allegedly tried to flee.
In the ensuing confusion, the wife managed to escape, while the male student was held until help arrived.

Community sources say the GHS 60,000 demand is being positioned as compensation for the alleged wrongdoing and the humiliation suffered by the husband.
However, the request has sparked debate among residents, with some questioning the feasibility and fairness of the amount.
Our checks indicate that the accused male student is said to come from a modest background, hence he can’t meet such a financial demand.
The matter remains under traditional consideration, and it is unclear whether the case will be referred to the police for formal investigation.
