Award-winning Ghanaian singer, Florence Obinim, has sparked intense debate on social media after releasing an emotional video in which she addressed accusations that she has undergone plastic surgery to alter her appearance.
In the self-recorded video which has attracted mixed reactions online, the visibly distressed singer strongly denied claims that she had gone “under the knife” to make her face look younger.
Florence Obinim insisted that her appearance is natural and not the result of any cosmetic procedure.
She also dismissed rumours suggesting that she was envious of actress Benedicta Gafah’s looks and had allegedly undergone surgery to resemble her. According to the singer, such claims are baseless and deeply hurtful.
Speaking with pain and frustration, Florence Obinim reacted harshly to her critics by directing strong words and curses at those spreading the allegations.
In the video, she called on God to visit her attackers and cause them unforgeatbble pain.
