The Korlebu Teaching Hospital has given owners of unclaimed bodies up to January 18 to reach out to them or they will conduct a mass burial for such bodies.
The Hospital made the intention known in a released communique which Gh Page has sighted across social media platforms.
According to the hospital, “The Hospital Mortuary is currently congested and has reached full capacity. As a result, management will conduct a mass burial of all unclaimed, unknown, and unidentified bodies at the mortuary”.
They went into furtherance to state that, next of kin, or any persons with interest in any of the bodies are requested to contact management within twenty-one days of this notice, or before January 18, 2026”.
Adding that “The exercise will be carried out in collaboration with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly”.
