My aim is to serve my country and my people- Okatakyie Afrifa speaks on why he traveled to the USA

Ghanaian media personality and a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party, Okatakyie Afrifa has for the first time disclosed what triggered his decision to travel abroad.

Even though many travel to seek greener pastures abroad, Okatakyie has said that his has no correlation with seeking greener pastures.

Speaking on the recent episode of his “For The Records” show, the media personality revealed that he traveled to the USA to become a better version of himself, as far as law is concerned.

According to him, upon completion and graduating with numerous certificates in Ghana, he thought it wise to travel to to pursue a master’s in law.

Okatakyie Afrifa who is presently at the university of Connecticut claims he is studying so that he could understand if not all, almost everything as far as law is concerned.

“My desire to understand the law is what brought me to the USA, where I am now pursuing a master’s in law at the university of law in Connecticut”, he said.

He questioned that “my aim is to serve the country and my people. After all I have learned and accomplished, if my constituents do not benefit, what would I gain from all my knowledge and education?”
