$195 million is raised by Banco Industrial in Guatemala.

Banco Industrial, S.A. received advice from Mayora & Mayora, S.C. in Guatemala regarding an issuance from its diversified payments rights (DPR) securitization program.

The program’s special purpose company issuer, Industrial DPR Funding, released the $195 million Series 2022-1 fixed rate notes. The Bank of New York Mellon served as the trustee, Intertrust served as the SPC administrator, Wells Fargo served as the placement agent, and Fitch Ratings served as the rating agency.

With a team that included partners Claudia Pereira for the banking and finance issues and Eduardo Mayora A. for the tax aspects, Mayora & Mayora provided advice to Banco Industrial, S.A. For the United States, Banco Industrial, S.A. was represented by Hogan Lovells. Mayer Brown in the United States and Consortium Legal in Guatemala both provided advice to the placement agent. The Cayman Islands’ counsel was Walkers Global, while the trustee’s counsel was Emmet Marvin & Martin.
